Meeting of the CIS Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives took place in Minsk

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev, as well as his deputies Viktor Guminsky and Agybay Smagulov. According to the CIS Executive Committee press-service, the participants drew the outcomes of the meeting of Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers, as well as outlined the objectives for the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives and the CIS Executive Committee on the implementation of documents adopted at the meeting, focusing on the implementation of the Plan of Multilevel Inter-MFA Consultations within the CIS for 2018, protocol decisions on the updating of the provisions of the Concept for the CIS Further Development, and on the draft statement of the CIS Ministers of Foreign Affairs on prevention of the erosion of the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states.

The second issue discussed by the Permanent Representatives was the activities of the CIS Antiterrorist Center, the Head of the Antiterrorist Center Andrei Novikov delivered a report on this subject.
