Meeting of the Commission on Economic Issues at the CIS Economic Council takes place in Moscow

The meeting brought together the representatives of the CIS sectoral cooperation bodies, ministries and agencies of the Commonwealth.

The experts discussed a number of draft documents, including the Declaration on CIS Strategic Economic Cooperation, the Concept of CIS Cooperation for Development of Digital Society and Digital Economy and the Priority Action Plan for its implementation. Besides, the agenda also included the issues related to the preparation of 2020 census in the CIS, the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement of 18 October 2011, the implementation of Intergovernmental Target Program “Reclamation of Territories Affected by Uranium Mining Industries” in 2018, etc.
