Meeting of the Economic Policies Commission at the CIS Economic Council to take place on 25 July in Moscow

The participants of the meeting will discuss the implementation of the provisions of the Free Trade Agreement of 18 October 2011, implementation in 2017 of the 2020 CIS Intergovernmental Program of Innovative Cooperation and the Action Plan on its implementation.

The members of the Commission will be informed on the activity of the basic CIS institution in the field of retraining and professional upgrade of specialists in anti-monopoly regulation and competition policy and on improvement of the CIS legal framework in the field of preparation and implementation of the Commonwealth's budget.

In addition, the meeting will also focus on the consideration the Draft Protocol on Exchange of Information in Electronic Form among the CIS Fiscal Authorities to Perform Tax Administration, the amendments to the Intergovernmental Target Program on Recultivation of Areas Affected by Uranium Mining, preparation for holding 2020 population censuses in the CIS countries, development of information society across the CIS and regulatory regimes in the field of banking regulation and supervision across the CIS.

The agenda will also feature the financing of the CIS bodies and a range of organizational issues.
