Ordinary session of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiaries meets in Minsk

CIS Execom was the platform of the session of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiaries of the Commonwealth Countries. Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of the Executive Council, Executive Secretary, took part in the session.

The plenipotentiaries discussed the outcome of the MFA Council session of 3 April (Bishkek). They also focused on inter-MFA consultations in 2014 and 2015, strengthening integration in the field of training for trainers in the Commonwealth, plans of key cultural event in 2016 – 2020.

Major discussions were dedicated to the work and progress in celebrating 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War with highlights on the related work of the IPA CIS.

The session also drafted the plan of possible activities to celebrate 25th anniversary of the CIS next year and submitted it for approval of the MFA Council and the Council of Heads of State
Plenipotentiaries will convene the next session on 19 May.
