Relevant problems and prospects of civil service discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The headquarters of the IPA CIS provides a venue for the 3rd International Forum Public Administration: Technological Breakthroughs in the Digital Age. The forum was organized by the North-West Institute of Management, branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (NWIM RANEPA).
Director of the NWIM RANEPA, civil servant, professor, PhD in Economics Vladimir Shamakhov opened the plenary session. Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to the IPA CIS Irina Sokolova addressed the participants of the forum in the Tavricheskiy Palace and expressed her gratitude for many years of fruitful cooperation in drafting model laws and student volunteering during the IPA CIS events.
The welcome address from Plenipotentiary Representative of President of the Russian Federation in Northwestern Federal District Aleksandr Beglov was delivered by Chief Federal Inspector in St. Petersburg Viktor Minenko.
The agenda of the forum features the efficiency and quality of state and local administration in Russia and abroad, as well as civic control, use of blockchain technologies in public administration and digital economy. It focuses on project management, HR and social technologies.
The forum brought together political and civil society leaders, representatives of business community and leading experts in the field of public administration from the Republic of Armenia, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Kazakhstan, People's Republic of China, Finland and Estonia. On behalf of the IPA CIS the forum was attended by MP of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Chair of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Science and Education Ayk Babukhanyan and Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council, Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kogut.
