Second Eurasian Women’s Forum to bring together representatives from 110 countries

Deputy Chair of the Organizing Committee Galina Karelova noted that women from almost all the continents will join the Forum, including politicians, scientists, women of business, representatives of the prominent international organizations (UN, Council of Europe, UNESCO, ILO, WHO, World Bank, etc.)

According to Galina Karelova, the Second Eurasian Women’s Forum has a highly topical program. Besides five main strategic sessions on relevant issues and women’s input in the development of the modern world, it includes over 30 panels in various formats.

As one of its key features, the Forum will host a range of panels organized jointly with international organizations. These are the special sessions of UNIDO, UNESCO, World Bank, the second public-private BRICS dialogue “Women and Economy”, the seminar “Women and the Technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution of the APEC Economies”.

Galina Karelova also mentioned the meeting of the “Women’s G20”, first time to take place in the Russian Federation, as one of the key events.

The Forum’s key discussions will be devoted to women’s opportunities and role in politics, development of digital economy and innovative development of the social sphere, ensuring environmental security, strengthening international cooperation, promoting fundraising and humanitarian projects. The Forum will also feature a large number of interactive panels and presentation mounts, as well as other discussion panels aimed at developing international women cooperation.
