Meeting of the IPA CIS Council
OSCE PA 22nd Session commenced

The overarching theme of the current forum, Helsinki+40, deals with fostering OSCE and marks the upcoming 40th anniversary of Helsinki Final Act in 2015.
The Session will discuss issues of Internet freedom, as well as consequences of economic austerity measures. Delegates will share views on border security, combating racism, cyber crime, and energy efficiency.
The Annual Session is being attended by delegates from Europe, Asia and North America. Istanbul welcomed delegates from IPA CIS member nations – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, and Ukraine. Alexey Sergeev, IPA CIS Council Secretary General, will also be attending the Session.
