The role of women in culture discussed at the Second Eurasian Women's Forum

Open debate Women in Culture: Traditions and Innovations took place in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" within the framework of the second Eurasian Women's Forum. The exhibition Keep forever. 100 years of museum life of suburban residences, dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the creation of suburban museums in the former royal residences in Gatchina, Pavlovsk, Peterhof and Tsarskoe Selo was held in "Manege" at the same time. State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Alla Manilova was the moderator of the meeting. She gathered at the round table women who consummate in the museum, business and cultural spheres.

Participants discussed the role of women in the preservation of cultural heritage by examples of creative work in the culture, museums of St. Petersburg as a space for women's creativity, problems of the professional fulfilment of women in culture, directions of cooperation of women's public organizations in the field of culture, participation of women's public organizations in international cooperation.
