The XVI session of the Interstate Advisory Board  on Cooperation in Scientific, Technical and Innovative issues is over

The Members of the Board discussed the implementation in 2015 of the Interstate Program of Innovative Cooperation of the CIS nations for the period up to 2020.

The Board also discussed the coordination of the interstate cooperation in implementing different programmes and projects of the CIS members, EEU members and the cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

The members of the Board also touched upon the issue of implementation of pilot interstate innovative programme and its financing as well as the whole range of events for 2017-2020.

During the session the members also elected Alexander Shumilin, the Head of the State Committee on Science and Technology, as the President of the Interstate Advisory Board on Cooperation in Scientific, Technical and Innovative issues.
