VII International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective” to take place in St. Petersburg

On 2–3 October 2019, the VII International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective” aimed at developing multifaceted cooperation in the framework of Eurasian economic integration will take place in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the IPA CIS headquarters.

Upon the decision by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the St. Petersburg State University of Economics will provide organizational and scientific support for the event, which is co-organized by the Committee for External Relations of Saint-Petersburg, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and the Eurasian Universities Association.

The forum will bring together representatives of member parliaments of the Eurasian Economic Union, the CIS, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the CIS Executive Committee, a number of credible international organizations, as well as rectors of the leading universities of the Eurasian Universities Association.

The program of the Forum features plenary session and roundtables devoted to the role of regions in Eurasian integration, the humanitarian principles underpinning the cooperation of Eurasian countries, the development of the common values system for Eurasian integration and other economic, legal and humanitarian aspects of cooperation. The program also features the International Conference on Economic Security and the meeting of the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board on Economics.
