International Agenda, Economics and Health Care to be Discussed at Fourth Eurasian Womens Forum

Eurasian Women’s Forum (EAWF) Council discussed the “architecture” of the upcoming Fourth Eurasian Women's Forum. It is based on five leading thematic tracks related to the international agenda, the economy, and health care.

Fourth Eurasian Women's Forum will be held in September 2024, said First Deputy Chair of  Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Government and Northern Affairs and Chair of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum under the Federation Council, Russian Senator Galina Karelova.

Architecture of the Forum is dictated by its main theme —”Confidence building and global cooperation“. It is based on five leading thematic tracks related to the international agenda, economics, health care and others. The international agenda of the Forum has almost been formed. Among the main events are the interparliamentary dialogue ”Women's Mission in shaping a new agenda of peace and trust“, an open meeting of the Women's Twenty (W20), a World thematic conference of foreign Russian compatriots. It is also planned to hold a dialogue between women of Central Asia and Russia, the International Club of Winners and participants of the International competition of Women's projects in APEC BEST AWARD and the International Discussion Club ”Eurasian Association of Women and Regional Leaders”.

Galina Karelova added that the first BRICS Women's Forum will be held on the sidelines of the forum.

Eurasian Women's Forum has been held since 2015 in the Tavricheskiy Palace, organized by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the IPA CIS.
