Doumskiy Hall changes color

Restoration workers together with the historians dug into the archives to find out the original color of the walls in the Doumskiy Hall. It took several months to restore thy seats and podiums. They were thoroughly clean and given a facelift. No imitations! Every item of the furniture is original, including the bureau. However, this was only a part of the project, albeit the most challenging and consuming. The Hall was equipped with brand-new conference electronic hardware. The works began on 1 November 2012. In the span of only a few months, the restoration team has done the impossible – to bring back the heart of the Tavricheskiy Palace to its original state of health, - according to the Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Sergeev.
