Parliamentarians building a Europe without dividing lines

Parliamentary conference on building a Europe without dividing lines in St Petersburg sponsored by IPA CIS and PACE began its deliberations today. The Conference was witnessed by the President of the IPA CIS Council and Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and President of the PA CE Jean-Claude Mignon. The Conference included two segments, the first discussing the role of parliaments in the promotion and protection of HRs, the second addressing the ways of making a transition from mistrust to understanding.
