Solemn meeting to remember Vladimir Vernadskiy and celebrate his life of achievement

The Secretary General of the IPA CIS Secretariat read out a message of the Chair of the IPA CIS Council and Speaker of the Federation Council Valentine Matvienko to the participants of the Congress. The meeting was attended by CIS parliamentarians, researchers, politicians, public figures who spoke of the great contribution of Vladimir Vernadskiy to the emergence of the concept of sustainable development, the then visionary paradigm and mainstream thinking about global economy today.
