CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs Meets in Baku

On 14 November, the meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs was held in Baku. The event brought together the representatives and experts from the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Advisory Board members discussed the implementation of the CIS Concept of Cooperation Development in the Field of Supporting Youth Volunteer Movement and the Action Plan on the Implementation of the Strategy for CIS International Youth Cooperation until 2020, as well as the draft Concept for 2021 – 2030.

The participants discussed the issues of holding the Forum of CIS Youth Public Organizations in 2019, social support for youth, development of youth entrepreneurship, cooperation of national public associations with the European Youth Forum.

On the margins of the Advisory Board meeting the final international stage of the Competition “100 Ideas for the CIS” took place.
