VII Russia-Belarus Youth Forum kicks off in St. Petersburg

Over 100 young people from both countries brought together at the VII Russia-Belarus Youth Forum “Youth for the Union State” to discuss inter-regional cooperation, best practices of supporting the youth in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, academic cooperation and other issues of the youth policy. The event was attended by the representatives of the Federation Council of the federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on behalf of the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations (YIPA CIS).

VII Russia-Belarus Youth Forum takes place on the eve of the 6th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, which will take place on 17–18 July.

Russia-Belarus Youth Forum has been held since 2013 upon the initiative of the National Youth Council of Russia and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
