Composition of International Observer Team at Parliamentary Elections in Kyrgyz Republic Defined

At the invitation of Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov, a delegation of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly will take part in monitoring the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Observer Team is to include the MPs from the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, including experts from the International Institute for Monitoring the Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD).

Chair of the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Defense and Security Issues Kutbidin Burkhanov was appointed the Observer Team Coordinator.

The members of the Observer Team will carry out monitoring at the foreign polling stations in 14 countries: the Azerbaijan Republic (Baku), the Republic of Belarus (Minsk), the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty), the Russian Federation (Moscow – 6 polling stations, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Tyumen), the Republic of Tajikistan (Dushanbe), as well as in Turkey (Ankara), Germany (Berlin), Belgium (Brussels), China (Beijing), Italy (Rome), Korea (Seoul), United Arab Emirates ( Dubai), Great Britain (London), France (Paris).

The elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held on 28 November 2021.
