IPA CIS Observers Arrive in Moldova to Monitor Run-Off Presidential Elections

Opening the organizational meeting in Chisinau Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD Ivan Mushket reminded that the IPA CIS started the monitoring following the invitation of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova.

The Observer Team composed of the representatives of the CIS Member Nations and the IPA CIS staff members is headed by member of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Rufat Guliev.

The monitoring is held in the localities of the Republic of Moldova, as well as on the foreign polling stations in Baku (Azerbaijan Republic), Minsk (Republic of Belarus), Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russian Federation).
