IPA CIS Observers Attended Opening of Polling Stations at Elections to State Duma on 19 September

The IPA CIS Observer Team Coordinator at the elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov attended the opening of the polling station No. 145 in the “House of Composers” in Moscow.

Speaking with the Journalists, he said that CIS MPs who had extensive experience in observing elections were working at polling stations in Russia. The experts of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD)also monitored the elections outside the Russian Federation – in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federal Republic of Germany.
