IPA CIS Observers Met With Leadership of National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia

Today, within the framework of the short-term monitoring of the elections to the parliament of the Republic of Armenia, the IPA CIS international observers headed by Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus on Industry, Fuel-Energy Complex, Transport and Communication Igor Komarovsky met with Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
In his speech, Ararat Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for the emphasis placed by the IPA CIS on the elections monitoring. He told about the domestic and foreign political environment in the Republic of Armenia and expressed gratitude to Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko for her peacekeeping activity.
In his term, Igor Komarovsky informed the MPs on the results of the long-term monitoring of the electoral campaign performed by the staff members of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD) and told about the previous and upcoming meetings, the observers’ programs for the next days and schedules on the election day.
