Constitutional referendum ends in the Republic of Tajikistan

The IPA CIS Observer Team held a wrap-up meeting of the mission in Dushanbe.
The IPA CIS observers came together to discuss the results of the monitoring at the democratic referendum on the amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.
They shared their impressions on the progress of voting at polling stations in Dushanbe and townships in Khatlonskaya Oblast. Director of IIMDD IPA CIS Andrey Baranov reviewed the consolidated post-observation data and information on the monitoring effort in Baku, Minsk, Bishkek and Moscow.
The observers discussed the draft outcome conclusions of the mission.
The final outcomes will be presented at a press-conference on 23 May.
