IPA CIS international observers summarized the results of their work on the day of the presidential elections in the Azerbaijan Republic

The IPA CIS international observers discussed the results of their work on the election day at the final meeting that was led by the Team Coordinator Ilyas Umakhanov.

During the meeting the observers exchanged views on visiting more than 70 polling stations in eight districts of the capital of Azerbaijan. They noted high electoral activity of voters, efficient work of members of district election commissions. The participants of the meeting discussed and adopted the final document on the results of the monitoring of the presidential elections in the Azerbaijan Republic. The document states that the elections were held with respect for the rights and freedoms of all the stakeholders of the electoral process and in accordance with generally recognized democratic principles.
