IPA CIS observers are monitoring voting abroad

According to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the head of the state is elected for 5 years by direct equal and universal suffrage by secret ballot.

Presidential candidates are proposed by initiative groups with no less than 100,000 signatures. There are 4 candidates who are standing for election on 11 October.

49 ballot stations are open in 37 countries. IPA CIS international observers are monitoring the election at ballot stations in Baku, Erevan, Chisinau, Moscow, and St. Petersburg.
