IPA CIS observers continue their work in the Republic of Karelia

Deputies Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ayk Chilingaryan and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev continued their long-term monitoring mission in the Republic of Karelia on 16 February.
The observers met with the chairs of territorial election commissions No 1 and 2 of Petrozavodsk Oksana Yatskova and Sergey Chikunov, and discussed the issues related to the preparation and conduct of the electoral campaign during the presidential elections in the Russian Federation.
At the end of their visit, Ayk Chilingaryan and Nurbek Satvaldiev met with Deputy Head of the Republic of Karelia on Domestic Policy Vladimir Lyubarsky and Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Karelia Aleksey Bakhilin.
