Ayk Chilingaryan and Nurbek Satvaldiev fulfill long-term monitoring of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation

Members of the IPA CIS International Observer Team, Deputy Secretaries General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ayk Chilingaryan and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev are in the Republic of Karelia on a two-day mission to perform long-term monitoring of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation.

The IPA CIS observers also met with Chairman of the Central Elections Commission Alexey Bakhilin and discussed the preparatory stage of the elections.

The observers will continue their work in the republic on 16 February.
