IPA CIS observers published the findings after the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan

The IPA CIS observer team monitored the parliamentary election at ballot stations in Astana, Almaty and other regions of Kazakhstan, as well as in Baku, Yerevan, Minsk, Bishkek, Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The observer team comprised 42 international observers from 7 CIS countries (the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan) and included MPs, representatives of supreme legislative bodies, staff members of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, experts of International Institute for Monitoring Democratic Development, Parliamentarism and Suffrage Protection of the Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IIMDD IPA CIS).

Valekh Askerov, Vice Speaker of Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan was appointed as Coordinator of the Observer Team.

According to the established practice, the Findings will be published on the official web-site of the Assembly.
