Over 20 IPA CIS Observers to Participate in Parliamentary Elections Monitoring in Belarus

The Central Commission of the Republic of Belarus on Elections and Holding Republican Referenda accredited over 20 international observers on behalf of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly to participate in the monitoring of the elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to take place on 17 November 2019.

The list of accredited members includes Team Coordinator, First Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdudhzabbor Azizi.

Within the framework of a long-term monitoring of the preparation stage a number of accredited observers from among the IIMDD IPA CIS staff members is going to visit the Vitebsk Region and Minsk on 15–19 October.

The formation of the observer team is still in progress.
