The IPA CIS Observer Team published its findings on the presidential elections in the Kyrgyz Republic

The monitoring group of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly published the findings on the monitoring of the presidential elections in the Kyrgyz Republic that took place on 15 October 2017.

The group consisted of members and representatives of the parliaments of seven member states of the IPA CIS (Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation and Republic of Tajikistan), as well as the staff of the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council. Vice-chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Defense Viktor Zavarzin was appointed Team Coordinator.

The IPA CIS observers monitored the elections at polling stations in Bishkek and settlements in Issyk-Kul, Naryn and Chu regions of the Kyrgyz Republic, and at the foreign polling stations in Baku, Minsk, Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
