The results of the parliamentary election in the Kyrgyz Republic

On 15 October, the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic declared the final results of the election to the Jogorku Kenesh. According to the Chairperson of the Commission Tuigunaaly Abdraimov, that was the first time of running the election with use of biometric technologies for person identification and automatic ballot boxes with scanners for counting votes.

The election was observed by the IPA CIS team of 32 international observers from 7 CIS countries (the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Moldova. The Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan).
