Voting at the elections of members of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan took place

The members of the IPA CIS Observer Team monitored elections in three regions: Astana, Akmola and Karaganda regions. The observers representing the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation led by Coordinator Ilyas Umakhanov visited the meeting of electoral delegates in Astana.

After the voting, the IPA CIS observers met with Speaker of Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin. At the meeting they shared feedback on the voting process at the elections.

At the end of the E-day, the IPA CIS team of international observers led by Ilyas Umakhanov held am outcome meeting to share impression on the voting process. The observers unanimously agreed that the elections had been held in compliance with the national electoral legislation of Kazakhstan.
