CIS MPs Approved Draft Recommendations on Identifying and Supporting Talented Children and Youth

The IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Science and Education held its meeting at the IPA CIS headquarters. MPs approved the revised draft CIS Model Information Code, draft Recommendations on Organization of Parents Advocacy and the Legal Regulation of Digitalization in Education, as well as a number of other documents.

The meeting was presided by Deputy Chair of the Commission, Chair of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Science, Education and Culture Igor Marzalyuk. MPs from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the work of the Commission.

All documents are expected to be submitted for consideration by the IPA CIS plenary session.

The CIS MPs also considered proposals for the draft Long-Term Plan of Model Law-Making in the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2023–2025 and the work plan of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Science and Education for 2023.
