Viktor Zavarzin Elected Chair of IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Defense and Security Issues

On 23 September 2022, a meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Defense and Security Issues took place. During the meeting, member of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Defense Viktor Zavarzin was re-elected as Chair of the Commission. Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Adil Aliyev and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan was elected as Deputy Chairs of the Commission.
