Experts discussed health care in the countries of the Commonwealth

The meeting of the IPA CIS Board of Experts on Public Health was held in the Tavrichesky Palace. Chairman of the Board of Experts Yury Scherbuk presented the comparative assessment of demographic indicators and indicators of kids and teens health in the countries of the Commonwealth and in the European Union for 1990–2015.

The participants of the meeting exchanged their views on the issue of respecting the rights of child patients and focused on the protection of the rights of child patients with HIV.

The discussion of the project Guarantees of Respecting Rights of Child Patients While Delivering Medical Care in the CIS Member States (Legal and Humanitarian Aspects) was another important item on the agenda.

In conclusion, the experts considered the proposals of the Board of Experts on amending the IPA CIS Long-Term Plan of Model Law-Making for 2016-2020.
