Meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Economy and Finance took place in St. Petersburg

The participants included Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on Foreign Relations Ermine Nagdalyan, member of the Committee of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Finance and Budget Sergei Plotnikov, Secretary of the Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on Economy, Budget and Finance Vladimir Golovatyuk, member of the Committee of the Federation Council the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Budget and Financial Markets Andrei Epishin, Acting Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Sergey Antufiev, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ayk Chilingaryan, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kogut, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev, and Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Ibod Rakhimov.

Members of the Permanent Commission discussed the draft concept of the model Tax Code for CIS Member Nations, Special Part Chapter III “Tax Management”, as well as the drafting of the Handbook on the Development and Implementation of the            Public-Private Partnership Mechanisms in the CIS Member Nations (a collection of model documents, guidelines and practical recommendations).The participants also analyzed the CIS policies in the sphere of public-private partnership, looked through the evaluation procedure for the PPP projects, and discussed the concepts of the model laws on Engineering, on Engineering Practices, and on Pricing.
