IPA CIS experts discussed issues of advocacy and judicial activity

The meeting of the Expert Advisory Board at the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Legal Issues took place in the Tavrichesky Palace.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova and Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Expert and Analytical Directorate, Head of the Model Law-Making Department in the Sphere of Security and International Legal Cooperation of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Stanislav Korostelev attended the meeting.

The members of the Expert Advisory Board discussed the draft model laws on Legal Practice and Attorneyship, Forensic Activity, and considered a few organizational issues.

Chair of the Expert Advisory Board under IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Legal Issues Yury Kozlov informed the participants on the implementation of the decision of the Expert Advisory Board meeting of 4 April 2018. The reviewed documents will be further cosidered by the meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Legal Issues on 29 November 2018.
