Ordinary meeting of the Joint IPA CIS – RCC Board of Experts took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace

Director General of the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications Nurudin Mukhitdinov opened the meeting of the Board of Experts.

Head of the Department for Model Law-Making in the Social and Humanitarian Sphere, Expert and Analytical Directorate of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport Konstantin Pshenko in his welcoming speech reminded that the Cooperation Agreement between IPA CIS and RCC was signed in 2002.

During the meeting, Secretary of the IPA CIS PC on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport Konstantin Pshenko was awarded with the Certificate of Excellence for the Contribution to the RCC Development and the Diploma for Active Cooperation with the RCC ".  

The meeting discussed drafts of the new editions of Model Laws on Personal Data, on Scientific and Technical Information, the draft Model Law on Digital Notaries Activities in the Course of Cross-Border Information Exchange. The participants were also informed about the progress of development of the draft Model Law on Promoting Digital Society".

The experts heard analytical reports and considered the proposals of the Council on the amendment of the Long-term Plan of Model Law-making for 2016-2020.

In addition, a number of organizational issues were discussed at the meeting.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova took part in the meeting.
