Meeting of the IPA CIS PC on Science and Education took place in IPA CIS HQ

Issues related to the development of model lawmaking in the field of science and education were discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the IPA CIS HQ.

Deputy Chairman of the IPA CIS PC on Science and Education, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly for Education, Culture and Science Igor Marzalyuk led the meeting.

The meeting discussed the draft model law on Contracting in Research and Development Sphere, Revised ML Scientific and Technical Information, Recommendations on Nanotechnology Ethics and the Aligned Glossary of Education Terms.

Draft Recommendations on the Improvement of Education Standards in the CIS Member Nations was approved and recommended for the consideration at the IPA CIS plenary session.

Information was also presented on the implementation of model laws, adopted by the IPA CIS on the initiative of the commission, in the law-making activity of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic.

The meeting also reviewed the work plan of the IPA CIS PC on Science and Education for 2019.
