Regular meeting of IPA CIS PC on Science and Education

IPA CIS PC on Science and Education held its regular meeting in the IPA CIS headquarters – the Tavrichesky Palace.

The meeting considered the following items: drafts of the model law Research Partnership and Cooperation in Design and Production of Innovative Products (Services), the concept of the revised model law Pre-School Education, the Recommendations on Cooperation of Young Researchers in the CIS Countries.

The commission considered the proposal of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus on Education, Culture and Science to develop the Recommendations on Attestation of Highly-Qualified Research Staff including Research/Pedagogical Staff and the proposal on amending the CIS Long-Term Plan of Model Law-Making for 2016-2020.

The members of the Commission also discussed the draft statement of the 45^th IPA CIS Plenary Session on Quality of Education in the CIS Member Nations: Legal Support and Efficient Practice and heard information on the parliamentary hearings related to the implementation of the Public Policy on the Development of Professional Education in Tajikistan held in Dushanbe on 14 June. They also were briefed on the work of the World Intellectual Property Organization in the field of innovative development and education and training personnel in the intellectual property in the CIS countries.
