Condolences of IPA CIS Council Chairperson Valentina Matvienko on Passing of Askhat Nuskabaj

On behalf of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States and on my own behalf, I express deep condolences on the untimely passing of Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the IPA CIS Askhat Nuskabaj.
Given his rich experience in the diplomatic service, Askhat Nuskabaj did a great deal to develop the integration processes across the CIS. In October 2017, Askhat Nuskabaj was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the IPA CIS. In this responsible position, he significantly contributed to strengthening good relations among the peoples of the Commonwealth countries.
We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Askhat Nuskabaj for the irreparable loss.
