Dates of the 6th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia

During the press-conference on the outcomes of the 48^th IPA CIS Plenary Session, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko noted that by agreement with the Council of the Republic of National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus the 6^th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will take place in St. Petersburg. Valentina Matvienko also noted that the 2019 Forum will be dedicated to humanitarian and educational cooperation between the two countries.

It should be reminded that the Forum has been held for five years. In 2018 the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia took place in Mogilev. The main theme of the Forum was the priority areas of regional cooperation as key factors for integration and union building.
