IPA CIS Council Chairperson meets with international colleagues

In the margins of the 44^th IPA CIS Plenary Session, Valentina Matvienko met with OSCE PA President Illka Kanerva and OSCE PA Secretary General Roberto Montella. The parties discussed inter-parliamentary cooperation and current issues of the global agenda.

On the same day, Valentina Matvienko met with Director General of the International Organization for Migration William Lacy Swing to discuss current migration issues around the globe.

"We think the coordination of efforts at the international level is a pre-requisite in addressing global migration challenges", said IPA CIS Council Chairperson.
