Secretaries General of 4 parliamentary assemblies meet in the Tavricheskiy Palace

Secretaries General of IPA CIS, OSCE PA, PA CE and PABSEC (Alexey Sergeev, Roberto Montella, Wojciech Sawicki and Asaf Hajiyev) came together for a meeting in the margins of the IPA CIS Spring Session of 2016.

This is the first meeting of this format which enabled the heads of secretariat of the four assemblies to discuss current cooperation issues and path ways for further work. The parties discussed the possible theme of a joint event to be held on the initiative of the IPA CIS Council Chairperson Valentina Matvienko.

Welcoming the solid track record and the cooperation history of the four assemblies, the participants of the meeting agreed on the need to continue the practices of working contacts and organize meetings of secretaries general on a regular basis.
