IPA CIS delegation participated in the events dedicated to the 315th anniversary of St. Petersburg

Within the framework of the celebration of the city’s birthday, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the Bronze Horseman monument to the founder of St. Petersburg Peter the Great.

The meeting was attended by Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to Northwestern Federal District Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, Head of Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Entity Irina Vlach, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly Vyacheslav Makarov, honorary citizens of St. Petersburg, members of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, Commanding Officer of Western Military Region Andrey Kartapolov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Vladimir Korolev, members of delegation of the Republic of Serbia, Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Yury Osipov, representatives of religious denominations and NGOs.
