Nurlan Nigmatulin elected Speaker of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakshan

Today, at the plenary session of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan the members of parliament unanimously elected Nurlan Nigmatulin as the new Speaker of the Majilis. His nomination was proposed by MPs from all factions and the parliamentary group of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan. The voting process was secret, with paper ballots used.
