Valentina Matvienko sends a message to the participants of the international conference on WWII

In her message, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council welcomed the speakers and guests of the Conference on the End of WWII stressing the decisive role of the Soviet people in the global stand against the Nazi invaders. She underscored the utmost significance of the war outcomes for the post-war peace-building and shaping the defense and security framework of all nations.

Valentina Matvienko echoed the efforts of the IPA CIS in commemorating the Great Patriotic War through the recent Living Memories Tour initiative. She expressed confidence that the current conference will contribute to the combat against distorting history and revisiting the outcomes of WWII.
