Valentina Matvienko: "We highly appreciate the work of the Kyrgyz Republic in IPA CIS"

The wide range of issues related to interparliamentary cooperation was discussed.

Valentina Matvienko appreciated active and committed work of the Kyrgyz delegation, which had initiated several model laws.

The special attention was paid to the joint celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and countermeasures against attempts to reconsider the outcomes of the World War II.

Valentina Matvienko awarded Asylbek Zheenbekov medal “Federation Council. 20 years”.

Before that Asylbek Zheenbekov had had a meeting with Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin.
