150th birthday anniversary of Vernadskiy

IPA CIS maintains a venerable tradition to mark anniversaries of celebrated thinkers and scholars together with the CIS parliamentary community, and we are happy to be here with you today, said Chief, Expert and Analytical Dept. Alexander Sourygin speaking at the anniversary meeting at the Institute of Radium. He lived at a time imbued with a sense of purpose, and Vernadskiy stands out as figure belonging to the human civilization as a whole, noted Mr Sourygin. He also invited the Radium Institute to take part in the solemn meeting in the Tavricheskiy on 29 March.
