Bakhtovar Safarzoda Takes Part in Meeting of Coordination Council of Tajik Diaspora

On 3 February 2021, a meeting of the Coordination Council of the Tajik Diaspora in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region took place at the St. Petersburg House of Nationalities. The event was attended by Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council - Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Bakhtovar Safarzoda, Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in St. Petersburg Khomijon Nazari, representative of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan in St. Petersburg Shodiboy Turaev, chairs of the diasporas, coordinators and members of the Coordination Council.
Bakhtovar Safarzoda delivered the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the main directions of domestic and foreign policy of the Republic” and noted the need to build good relations between the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan and residents of the multinational city of St. Petersburg. Khomijon Nazari stressed that the Consulate General was ready to assist the compatriots and outlined the need to strictly follow the orders of the Government of St. Petersburg and ensure the observance of law and order by citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan.
