Condolences Regarding Crocus City Hall Tragedy

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims in connection with the tragedy at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, stressing that such events are shared pain for the peoples of the Commonwealth countries.

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko expressed her condolences to the loved ones of the victims of the attack, underlining that the state will provide all possible assistance and support to the families of the victims and the injured.

Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin also expressed condolences to the loved ones of the victims of the terrible tragedy and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Sahiba Gafarova sent condolences to the heads of both chambers of the Russian parliament, stressing that she was deeply shocked by the news of the tragic events that resulted in civilian casualties.

Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan condemned the terrorist attack.

Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova extended condolences to Valentina Matvienko in connection with the victims in the concert hall, condemning the cynical murder of civilians and expressing full solidarity with the fraternal people of Russia.

Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sergeenko expressed sincere condolences to the leadership of Russia and the Russian people in connection with the horrendous tragedy.

Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev in his letter to Valentina Matvienko expressed profound condolences in connection with the tragic events, stressing that Kazakhstan deeply mourns and shares the pain of the families of the victims.

Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Shakiev expressed sincere condolences to his Russian colleagues.

Speaker of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali sent telegrams of condolences to the heads of both chambers of the Russian Parliament.

Speaker of the Halk Maslahaty of the Republic of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov called Valentina Matvienko to express sincere condolences on behalf of the Turkmen people and himself to the loved ones of the victims of the terrorist attack and to all Russians.

Speaker of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva also sent a letter of deep condolences to her Russian colleagues.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin declared 24 March a day of national mourning.

In memory of the victims of the terrorist attack Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Parliaments of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia in the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations Hayk Chilingaryan, Shabdanbek Alishev, Abdukhalil Gafurzoda and Irina Sokolova laid a floral tribute in St. Petersburg.
