Dmitriy Kobitskiy Held Meeting With Consul General of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg Abdurakhmon Makhmudov

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy met with Consul General of Republic of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg Abdurakhmon Makhmudov at the Tavricheskiy Palace. The parties discussed promising area of cooperation.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy told about the work of the IPA CIS, its permanent commissions and expert councils, as well as cooperation with other international organisations and extensive convention activities.

Last year, the country hosted the International Cultural and Educational Forum “Children of the Commonwealth”. A delegation of manufacturers and designers from Uzbekistan worked at the forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” in 2022-2023.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy informed that in September the 4^th Eurasian Women's Forum will be held at the IPA CIS headquarters, which is expected to be attended by a large number of delegates from the CIS countries and the rest of the world.

The parties also discussed the Assembly's youth projects and activities to monitor elections and referendums in the Commonwealth space.

Abdurakhmon Makhmudov stressed that the Consulate is ready for diverse cooperation and assistance in the implementation of international IPA CIS projects with the participation of representatives of Uzbekistan.
